Job Purpose
To support the day-to-day operation of the warehouse while carrying out deliveries and collections across the UK. This dual-role position requires flexibility, ensuring warehouse operations and logistics run efficiently to support renewable energy installations nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, unload and check incoming deliveries.
Pick, pack and prepare materials for Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Chargers and associated products.
Load and unload company vehicles safely and efficiently.
Deliver materials to installation teams across the UK.
Collect stock from suppliers and transport goods between company sites.
Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock takes.
Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with Health & Safety procedures.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure company vehicles are maintained to a high standard.
Support the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse operations.
Assist the Operations Team to ensure installations are completed on schedule.
Undertake additional duties as required to support business operations.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Previous warehouse experience.
Previous multi-drop or delivery driving experience.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
Flexible approach to working hours and changing priorities.
Desirable
Experience within the construction, electrical or renewable energy sector.
Forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach).
Knowledge of warehouse stock management systems.
Personal Attributes
Reliable and punctual.
Positive, can-do attitude.
Professional and customer-focused.
