We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established secondary school in North Birmingham for a full-time Geography Teacher to cover a long-term staff absence. This is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming department where you'll have the chance to make a real difference while teaching motivated students.
This is a full teaching role, so you'll be responsible for planning, delivering engaging Geography lessons, assessing pupil progress and completing all marking in line with school policies. You'll become a valued member of the department and play an important part in maintaining continuity for students throughout the placement.
The Role
Full-time Geography Teacher position.
Long-term sickness cover with an immediate start available.
Teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential).
Full planning, preparation and marking responsibilities.
Working within a supportive Humanities department.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Geography within a UK secondary school.
Strong classroom management and the ability to inspire learners.
A commitment to delivering high-quality lessons and supporting student progress.
