We're looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a talented team responsible for introducing and supporting the manufacture of complex electromechanical products.
You'll play a key role in New Product Introduction (NPI), Design for Manufacture, Continuous Improvement and Manufacturing Engineering strategy, ensuring products transition smoothly from design into production.
The role- Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers.
- Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
- Develop and optimise manufacturing processes.
- Support Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma improvement projects.
- Support Production, Supply Chain and Engineering teams.
- Drive PFMEA, Root Cause Analysis and 8D problem solving.
- Manage manufacturing documentation including BOMs, work instructions and testing procedures.
About you
You'll ideally have experience within:
- Manufacturing Engineering leadership.
- Low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing.
- Electromechanical products.
- PCB-based assemblies.
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Continuous Improvement.
- NPI and process development.
- Cross-functional stakeholder management.
