CPCS Excavator Driver

Mane Infrastructure are on the look for a CPCS Excavator for a contract lift located in Croydon, London area.

Applicants will be required to safely and efficiently operate a 360 excavator to carry out excavation, grading, lifting (where authorised), trenching, and earthmoving activities in accordance with project specifications, site procedures, and health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a CPCS 360 Excavator safely and competently.
Carry out daily pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks on the machine.
Undertake excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and loading activities as directed.
Work in accordance with excavation drawings, permit systems, and supervisor instructions.
Assist with lifting operations where appropriately trained and authorised.
Work safely around underground and overhead services, following safe digging practices.
Coordinate effectively with banksmen, groundworkers, and site management.
Report any defects, hazards, near misses, or safety concerns immediately.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
Comply with all health, safety, environmental, and site-specific procedures.
Wear and maintain the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Essential Requirements

Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator Operator card.
Proven experience operating 360 excavators on construction or civil engineering projects.
Good understanding of safe excavation practices and site health and safety requirements.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.

Working Hours:
14:30pm till 22:30pm
