Site Manager Required
Location: London (Projects across London)
Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 + Package (DOE)
We are recruiting for a specialist structural alterations and enabling works contractor delivering complex refurbishment and construction projects across London.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team and take ownership of high-profile structural alteration projects ranging from £300k to £4.5m.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging schemes within prestigious commercial, education and heritage environments.
The Role
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing site operations from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day site operations.
* Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and materials.
* Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
* Produce and maintain site records, RAMS and permits.
* Deliver daily briefings and toolbox talks.
* Monitor programme and report progress to the Contracts Manager.
* Liaise with clients, consultants and design teams.
* Manage quality control and snagging through to handover.
* Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering structural alteration, refurbishment or construction projects.
* Strong knowledge of temporary works, demolition and structural steel installations.
* Experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating complex programmes.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
* A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving ability
