Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Elec Bias)

Are you an ambitious Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer looking to join a market-leading manufacturer with an excellent reputation for investing in its people, technology and future growth?
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a proactive and highly skilled engineering team where you will play a key role in keeping production running efficiently while driving continuous improvement projects across the site.
The role will entail supporting the production facility, assisting in the preventative maintenance, repair and upgrading of machines and equipment. You will carry out maintenance on the machinery as well as attending to breakdowns on site as and when required. Other key duties include the installation of electrical components, machines, and gadgets, troubleshooting and repairs on breakdowns and continuous maintenance on all equipment.
The Role
* Responding to electrical and mechanical breakdowns across a wide range of production machinery
* Diagnosing and resolving faults quickly to minimise downtime
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency
* Participating in engineering projects, machinery upgrades and process improvements
* Contributing to the development of a safe, reliable and high-performing manufacturing environment
What We are Looking For
* Electrical Engineering qualification
* 17th or 18th Edition qualification
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills
* PLC knowledge and troubleshooting experience
* Mechanical maintenance experience
* Proven experience within a manufacturing or production environment
* Experience of reactive maintenance and continuous improvement projects
* A proactive approach with a desire to learn and develop
