If you're looking for a hands-on engineering role where your expertise has a direct impact every shift, this Production & Process Engineer opportunity could be exactly what you're looking for.

What's in it for you

£17.33 per hour, equivalent to £37,952.70 per year.
4 on, 4 off shift pattern offering a consistent work-life balance.
05:30–17:30 working hours with a one-hour break, including 30 minutes paid.
Overtime paid at 1.5x once monthly target hours have been exceeded (paid one month in arrears).
Opportunity to work on planned maintenance, reactive repairs and continuous improvement projects.
A varied role supporting production-critical machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Your responsibilities as Production & Process Engineer

Carry out planned preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability.
Respond quickly to breakdowns, diagnose faults and minimise production downtime.
Support plant start-up, performance monitoring and shutdown activities.
Complete maintenance records accurately and ensure parts are correctly logged.
Identify and implement improvements to equipment and maintenance processes.
Work safely while maintaining health, safety, hygiene and food quality standards at all times.
What we're looking for in a Production & Process Engineer

Experience within poultry, meat processing, food manufacturing or FMCG environments (essential).
Mechanical maintenance experience within food manufacturing or another FMCG environment.
Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Knowledge of pneumatics together with an understanding of HACCP, PUWER, LOLER and COSHH.
Ability to complete planned maintenance and reactive engineering activities accurately.
Relevant engineering or health and safety qualifications would be advantageous.
Working hours: 48 hours per week, 4 on 4 off, 05:30–17:30 with a one-hour break (30 minutes paid).
