A welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Greenwich is seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Computer Science Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. This is an excellent opportunity to support students while developing your classroom experience in a supportive school environment.
The Role As a Graduate Computer Science Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support students during Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to help students reach their full potential.
Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
Help students develop confidence in programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy.
Support pupils with varying learning needs and encourage positive engagement.
Contribute to creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment. The Ideal Candidate
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related subject.
A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, organised, and enthusiastic approach.
Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
