Senior Quality Engineer
Diss, Norfolk
£42,000 - £50,000 + Benefits
Looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact?
If you're frustrated by spending more time maintaining systems than improving them, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
This is a chance to join a growing manufacturing business where you'll play a key role in strengthening quality across the organisation. You'll have the autonomy to take ownership, influence improvements and help shape the future of the Quality function.
They're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, challenging the status quo and seeing the results of their work. You'll be trusted to manage your own workload, work closely with multiple departments and become a valued technical voice within the business.
No micromanagement. No sitting on the sidelines. Just the opportunity to make a real difference.
What you'll be doing
As Senior Quality Engineer, you'll support and improve the Quality Management System while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing.
Your work will include:
* Leading customer complaint investigations and CAPA activities
* Conducting root cause analysis and implementing lasting solutions
* Supporting internal and external audits
* Managing quality documentation and calibration activities
* Working with suppliers to improve quality performance
* Supporting process validation, verification and risk management
* Monitoring quality metrics and identifying improvement opportunities
* Partnering with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain to improve quality throughout the business
What we're looking for
You'll already have experience within a Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance or Quality Systems role in a manufacturing environment.
You'll also bring experience with:
* Quality Management Systems
* CAPA and root cause investigation
* Internal auditing
* Continuous improvement
* Reading engineering drawings and technical documentation
Experience within medical devices or ISO 13485 would be beneficial, but it's by no means essential. Strong candidates from other regulated manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply.
Why this role?
This isn't about keeping things ticking over.
It's about joining a business that wants someone to bring fresh ideas, improve processes and influence positive change.
If you're someone with a strong work ethic, a hands-on approach and the confidence to work independently, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution from day one.
If you'd like to find out more, apply today or get in touch for a confidential conversation
