Permanent role in Wrexham

8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday

The role:

Are you passionate about project management and continuous improvement? Do you have a background in the manufacturing industry? If so, we want to hear from you!!

We are supporting a reputable food manufacturer to recruit a Project Lead who will manage multiple projects within an FMCG manufacturing environment as well as drive a collaborative approach to problem solving & performance improvement.

Responsibilities:

Manage a variety of key projects from to start to finish ensuring completion against KPI's.
Lead and deliver Continuous Improvement to deliver a reduction in unplanned losses.
Apply problem solving tools and coach others in the use of these - such as 5Y, Fishbone, DMAIC, Six Sigma etc.
Lead and deliver workshops as well as coach others in the use of continuous improvement processes.
Attend senior leadership meetings.
Produce, report and analyse data.
Candidate requirements:

Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Strong Excel skills and a high level of IT proficiency.
Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to demonstrate effective planning, tracking, and documentation.
Working knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies and continuous improvement tools, including 5 Whys, Fishbone (Ishikawa), DMAIC, and Six Sigma.
Passion for developing people and building organisational capability.
Highly motivated, with a strong work ethic and commitment to achieving results.
Positive attitude with the ability to influence and engage others.
Desirable but not essential:

Six Sigma Green Belt certification (desirable).
Previous Operations Leadership experience, including people coaching, team development, and change management (desirable).
Engineering or technical knowledge and understanding (desirable).
Similar Job Titles / Skills: Continuous Improvement Lead, Operations Lead,ProductionManager.
