Spire Clare Park Hospital is looking for an experienced Bank Building Maintenance/Handyman to join our Engineering team on a bank basis, supporting cover for annual leave and sickness.
This is a great opportunity to use your maintenance and decorating skills while working for one of the UK's leading private healthcare providers.
Spire Clare Park Hospital is a modern elective hospital located in Farnham and is rated "Good" by the CQC. The hospital provides a broad range of surgical and diagnostic services, including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Urology, Dermatology and ENT, supported by state‑of‑the‑art imaging facilities.
Role Overview:
As a Bank Engineering Assistant / Handyperson, you'll play a key part in helping us maintain a safe, welcoming and well‑maintained hospital environment for patients, visitors and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out general building maintenance and repairs
* Completing painting, decorating and minor refurbishment works
* Helping to source and purchase tools and materials
* Identifying maintenance and decoration needs and reporting them to management
* Completing mandatory online training
* Working safely at all times and keeping work areas safe for others
Weekend working required
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in painting, decorating and general maintenance
* Able to prioritise work and manage tasks independently
* Comfortable using a computer for training, communication and job sign‑off
* A strong communicator with good interpersonal skills
* Literate, numerate and highly motivated
