Electronics Assembly Operative required Redhill
Salary: £27,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Friday)
About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen with a top-tier, global manufacturer of high-precision testing systems. Following a recent high-profile acquisition of innovative technology, they are experiencing significant growth in their cutting-edge product range.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Build: Construct and assemble the specialized range of products in strict accordance with company build procedures and quality standards.
Calibration Support: Assist with the calibration of completed products using specialized equipment, accurately recording serial numbers, production data, and test records.
Inspection & Kitting: Perform incoming parts inspections to ensure quality control, and kit parts from production orders for sub-assemblies.
Logistics & Packing: Pack finished products to fulfill customer orders, ensuring items are securely readied for on-time shipping.
Systems & Admin: Utilize the company ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics) to maintain accurate production files and ensure the workflow runs smoothly.Requirements & Experience
Education/Qualifications: NVQ, HNC, HND, or an apprenticeship in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering (or a relevant technical discipline). Product assembly training in a stringent manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
Technical Skillset: Strong practical skills with the ability to read and interpret engineering/general assembly drawings. Experienced in using small hand tools and precision measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, verniers).
Key Attributes: Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a flexible, team-oriented attitude. A personal interest or hobby in 3D printing, RC models, or DIY mechanics fits perfectly with the culture of this team.
