Job Title: MEP Engineer
Location: London, hybrid with regional site travel
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum + van + bonus + professional membership support
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
GCP FM is looking for an experienced MEP Engineer to provide technical leadership across mechanical, electrical and public-health systems within a commercial property portfolio.
This is a hands-on technical services role for someone who can bridge building performance, maintenance strategy, contractor control, lifecycle planning, BMS-led optimisation and compliance support.
You will review asset condition, diagnose recurring issues, scope remedial and minor-project works, challenge technical submissions, support plant reliability, and provide clear engineering advice to clients and operational teams.
You will ideally bring:
Solid experience in hard FM, building operations, M&E maintenance or MEP project delivery;
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, controls interfaces and statutory maintenance;
Confidence reviewing RAMS, quotations, technical reports, commissioning information and remedial scopes;
The ability to communicate risk, priority and technical options clearly;
A relevant engineering qualification, with CIBSE/IET membership or progression toward ieng/ceng an advantage.What we offer:
