Overview
I'm currently recruiting for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a supportive community team.
This is a rewarding role supporting children and young people aged 0-16 with a wide range of physical, developmental and neurological needs. You'll carry out assessments, develop individualised therapy programmes and work closely with families, schools and other professionals to help children achieve greater independence and reach their potential.
Working across homes, schools and community settings, you'll become part of a multidisciplinary team delivering Occupational Therapy interventions for children with a variety of additional needs, including developmental coordination difficulties, cerebral palsy, autism and sensory needs.
Requirements
HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy recognised by the relevant professional bodies
Experience working with children and young people
Strong assessment, report writing and clinical reasoning skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable
Enhanced DBS (we can put this in process for you)What's on offer
£38.00 per hour
Full-time locum opportunity
