A well-established and reputable manufacturing organisation based in Lisburn is seeking an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a skilled workforce within a modern fabrication environment, supporting high-quality production and continuous improvement.

Your new role

As Fabrication Supervisor, you will oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring fabrication projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards. You will lead a team of fabricators and welders, coordinating workloads and maintaining strong operational control.Key responsibilities will include:

Supervising daily fabrication and welding activities
Allocating workloads and coordinating team tasks
Monitoring the use of welding equipment, hand tools and machinery
Conducting quality inspections to ensure work meets specifications
Promoting and enforcing health & safety standards across the workshop
Supporting and developing team members through training and guidance
Working closely with production and project teams to meet deadlines
Maintaining accurate production records and reporting
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency

What you'll need to succeed

Previous supervisory experience within fabrication or manufacturingStrong hands-on experience in welding and fabrication processes
Knowledge of sheet metal work and assembly techniques
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Good problem-solving ability and mechanical awareness
Excellent communication skills and team-focused approach
