Trainee Aerospace Assembler | Cambridge | £13.21 per hour

Day 30: Reading technical drawings like second nature, building your first components under supervision.

Day 90: Working with real independence, and the team already trusting you with the harder jobs.

If you've just come off a hands-on course in carpentry, joinery, electronics or similar trade, this is where those skills turn into a career. No Trainee Aerospace Assembler experience is needed. Just the right attitude and a willingness to learn.

Using hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble components
Following technical drawings and assembly instructions
Preparing materials and checking component fit
Ensuring quality standards are met, adjusting parts where required
What you'll bring as a Trainee Aerospace Assembler:

Hands-on experience or college course in carpentry, joinery, kitchen fitting, general assembly, mechanical or electrical engineering, general assembly or the automotive industry
Confident use of drills, saws and hand power tools
Some knowledge of milling, drilling or cutting
Reliable and a strong work ethic with a proactive attitude
