Tennial Personnel are currently recruiting for a Bulk Production Operative to join our client’s manufacturing team based in Halesworth, Suffolk, on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful probation period.

The role is working 41.25 hours per week on a Monday to Friday weekly rotating shift pattern:

Training shifts:

6:00am – 2:00pm
2:00pm – 10:00pm

Ongoing shift pattern:

6:00am – 3:00pm
1:00pm – 10:00pm

Working within the Bulk Production department, you will be responsible for accurately preparing and producing products to set methods and quality standards. The role will also involve picking raw materials within a warehouse environment, supporting stock control, operating equipment, and ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately weigh and prepare raw materials in line with production requirements.

Produce products following set procedures, methods, and quality standards.

Pick and transfer raw materials using an ERP system and computerised scanners.

Support stock control processes and maintain accurate inventory records.

Assist with component transfers using various types of forklifts.

Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the production and warehouse areas.

Ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures, quality standards, and Health & Safety regulations.

Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.

Skills Required

Previous experience working within a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.

Strong attention to detail with excellent literacy and numeracy skills.

Good understanding of measurements, data, and production processes.

Comfortable using computerised systems, scanners, and ERP systems.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also working independently.

Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

A proactive “can-do, will-do” approach to work.

Qualifications Required
Previous manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.

Forklift experience or relevant licences would be advantageous but not essential.
