Our client has an urgent requirement for an experienced Programme Immobilisation and Transition Manager on either a FTC for 6 months (potential to extend)
The ideal candidate MUST have worked in an Operational/Project Management or similar role and essential that it has been within public sector, and will have experience of working on multi million £ contracts. And MUST be available to start immediately.
Role Purpose
To lead the successful mobilisation of new contracts, ensuring all operational, contractual, governance, reporting and client service requirements are implemented and embedded before transition into Business as Usual (BAU)
Responsible for the mobilisation, operational establishment and, where required, ongoing management of new contracts, programmes and business initiatives
Ensures work is successfully launched, embedded and capable of operating effectively, either through transition to Business as Usual (BAU) ownership or through continued operational management where ongoing ownership remains appropriate
Ensure contract obligations are converted into practical working processes, clear ownership, usable registers and effective reporting that Client Services can maintain following go-live
Create a repeatable mobilisation approach that our client can reuse for future standard
Mobilise, stabilise and transition work into Client Services / BAU ownership as soon as practical and safe
Some contracts, programmes or projects may require initial operational ownership or continued management because of client sensitivity, complexity, commercial value or the nature of the relationship

* Continuous Improvement and Repeatable Mobilisation Capability
Essential Core Skills and Experience
* Experience leading mobilisation, transition, project delivery, service implementation or operational readiness activity
* Strong planning, action tracking, risk, issue and dependency management skills
* Robust influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to guide meetings towards useful decisions and agreed actions
* Experience of complex client programmes
* PRINCE2, APM or equivalent project/programme delivery qualification or equivalent experience
* Experience setting up governance, MI, KPI reporting, service request and service management processes
* Experience developing reusable mobilisation templates or organisational delivery frameworks
