Occupational Therapist - Specialist SEND School
Band 5 | Full-Time | South West London
Overview
I'm currently recruiting for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join a specialist SEND school in South West London from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or early career Occupational Therapist looking to build their experience within a supportive education setting. You'll work with secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them develop the functional skills needed to access learning and become more independent.
You'll be joining an established multidisciplinary team with excellent support in place, making this an ideal role for someone looking to develop their paediatric Occupational Therapy career. The school has previously been happy to consider newly qualified therapists with relevant school-based experience.
Requirements
HCPC registered Occupational Therapist (or due to receive registration)
Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy recognised by the relevant professional bodies
An interest in paediatric and SEND Occupational Therapy
Experience within a school, paediatric or SEND setting is desirable
Enhanced DBS (we can put this in process for you)What's on offer
Band 5 salary
Full-time
