Our client, a well-established UK housebuilder, is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a timber frame development in Cheltenham.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of work and an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality homes.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of a large-scale timber frame housing development, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering circa 100 units per annum, while maintaining exceptional build quality, controlling costs, and driving site performance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all on-site construction activities from groundwork through to handover.
Lead, motivate and manage site teams and subcontractors to achieve programme milestones.
Ensure the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
Maintain outstanding quality standards and minimise defects throughout the build process.
Monitor budgets, control costs and reduce waste across the development.
Work closely with Commercial, Technical and Customer Care teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits and progress meetings.
Ensure NHBC standards and company procedures are consistently met.About You
We're looking for an experienced Site Manager who can demonstrate:
Proven experience managing high volume timber frame developments.
Strong commercial awareness with experience managing costs and site budgets.
A commitment to delivering exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
The ability to drive programmes while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
Experience managing multiple subcontract trades on fast-paced residential developments.Essential Qualifications
