Facilities Coordinator - Portsmouth - Temp to Perm (Immediate Start)
Location: Portsmouth
Hourly Pay Rate: £18.92p/h via Umbrella
Hours Of Work: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
We are seeking a proactive and organized Facilities Coordinator to support the day-to-day management of our facilities and ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained working environment. This role is ideal for someone with excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the day-to-day operation and maintenance of company facilities.
* Schedule and oversee planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
* Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
* Monitor facilities-related service contracts and maintain accurate records.
* Conduct regular building inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, company policies, and statutory regulations.
* Coordinate office moves, space planning, and workplace setup.
* Manage facilities helpdesk requests and respond promptly to employee queries.
* Monitor facilities budgets, raise purchase orders, and process invoices.
* Support business continuity planning and emergency procedures.
* Maintain records for fire safety, security, utilities, waste management, and compliance documentation.
* Assist with sustainability initiatives and environmental objectives.
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience in a facilities, property, or workplace coordination role.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Experience coordinating contractors and external suppliers.
* Good knowledge of health and safety practices.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
