As a CNC Miller, you will benefit from:

As a CNC Miller, your responsibilities will include:
Program CNC milling machines using EDGECAM CAD/CAM software, both online and offline
Set and operate CNC milling machines fitted with Heidenhain and Mazak controls
Read and interpret engineering drawings, route cards and technical specifications accurately
Modify and optimise existing CNC programs to improve cycle times and machining performance
Inspect finished components using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers and CMM equipment
Troubleshoot machining, tooling and programming issues to minimise downtime
As a CNC Miller, your experience will include:
Proven experience programming using EDGECAM CAD/CAM software
Experience using Heidenhain and Mazak CNC controls
Confidence reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
Competent use of precision measuring equipment
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, structured approach
Experience within a precision engineering environment, ideally aerospace or defence, is desirable
