Registered Manager – New Residential Mental Health Service Location: Manchester
Salary: £43,000 – £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

An Exciting Opportunity to Lead a Brand-New Service We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our brand-new 14-bed residential mental health service in Manchester opening soon.

This is a unique opportunity to shape a new service from the ground up, build a high-performing team, and create a safe, supportive, and person-centred environment that empowers individuals on their recovery journey.

The Role As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care that is safe, effective, and compliant with all regulatory requirements.

You will lead and inspire your team, promote a positive culture, and ensure that every individual receives compassionate, person-centred support that enables them to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the successful opening and ongoing management of a new 14-bed residential mental health service.
Ensure compliance with CQC standards and all relevant legislation.
Recruit, develop, and retain a skilled and motivated staff team.
Manage budgets and resources effectively.
Drive continuous quality improvement and achieve positive outcomes for people using the service.
Build strong relationships with commissioners, healthcare professionals, families, and external stakeholders.
Promote a culture of dignity, respect, inclusion, and recovery-focused care.About You You will be an experienced leader with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding mental health care.

Essential requirements:

Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a mental health or residential care setting.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
Proven leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
A commitment to delivering person-centred, recovery-focused care.
