The Role - Early Years Teaching Assistant
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive learning activities in line with the EYFS framework. You will work with pupils individually and in small groups, helping to develop their communication, language, social, and early literacy and numeracy skills.
The successful candidate will have a background in childcare, whether through a nursery, preschool, or other Early Years setting, and will be confident supporting young children with their learning and development. You will assist with classroom activities, encourage learning through play, and help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
Strong communication skills, patience, a caring nature, and a genuine passion for Early Years education are essential for this role.
