£32,000 per annum

Location: Wrexham

Permanent role

Job Overview

We are a supporting a leading importer and commercial distributor of high-quality products with theirrecruitment ofa detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to optimise the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Seasonal Demand Forecasting: Analyse historical sales data to predict sharp seasonal shifts in trends.

Stock Optimisation: Maintain optimal inventory thresholds for diverse product lines.
Supplier Communication: Collaborate with the Operation Manager to adjust purchase order frequencies based on moving sales targets.
Monitor shelf-life for organic goods and strategise clearance for outdated products.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Inventory turnover rate, forecast accuracy vs. actual seasonal sales and order fill rate and stockout frequency.
Candidate requirements:

Experience in inventory control, ideally within import, wholesale, or consumer goods distribution.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Understanding of shipping lead times, customs clearance delays, and seasonal retail cycles is highly preferred.
Strong analytical mindset, organisational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field with be useful but not essential.
