Salary: £19.19 - £23.38 per hour (including shift premium)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Permanent Nights)
Night Shift
Monday - Wednesday: 8:00pm - 6:00am
Thursday: 10:00pm - 5:30am

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Miller to join a modern precision engineering manufacturer on a permanent night shift.
Working on advanced 4 and 5 Axis CNC milling machines, you'll manufacture complex precision components to exact customer specifications while maintaining the highest standards of quality, accuracy and safety.
This role is ideal for an experienced machinist who enjoys technically challenging work, values producing components to tight tolerances and prefers the consistency and work-life balance offered by a permanent night shift.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
* Setting and operating 4 and 5 Axis CNC milling machines.
* Manufacturing high-precision engineered components to tight tolerances.
* Machining a range of materials including Titanium, Inconel and Hardened Steel.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Carrying out machine set-ups, tool changes and offset adjustments.
* Completing in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.
* Producing components that consistently meet customer quality standards.
* Achieving production targets while maintaining right-first-time quality.
* Identifying and reporting quality issues or non-conformances.
* Supporting continuous improvement and 5S initiatives.
* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
* Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
* Previous experience setting and operating 4 or 5 Axis CNC milling machines.
* Experience within a precision engineering environment such as Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Oil & Gas or subcontract machining.
* Apprentice trained or qualified through relevant industry experience.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Experience machining Titanium, Inconel or other high-performance engineering materials would be advantageous.
* Experience producing components to tight tolerances.
* Good inspection skills using precision measuring equipment.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Good communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
