Working Foreman - Heritage & Listed Building Restoration
Location: Manchester / Yorkshire (with travel to sites across the region)
Salary: From £20.00 an hour
Package: Company Van, Fuel Card, Bonus Scheme, Extensive Training & Development

Working closely with the Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects, supporting site operations and ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities while remaining hands-on where required.
Projects typically involve:
Heritage and listed building restoration
Structural alterations
Steelwork installations
Demolition works
Building refurbishment and restoration
Key Responsibilities
Managing operatives and subcontractors on site
Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times
Conducting site inspections and signing off completed works
Coordinating labour, materials, and resources
Assisting with site documentation and reporting
Supporting the management of project variations
Maintaining programme targets and quality standards
Liaising with site teams, clients, and management
Requirements
Previous experience as a Working Foreman, Site Supervisor, or similar
Experience within restoration, refurbishment, structural alteration, demolition, or construction projects
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to travel across Yorkshire, Leeds, Manchester, and surrounding areas
SMSTS or SSSTS certification
First Aid qualification
PASMA qualification
Full UK driving licence
