About the Role

We are currently recruiting experienced Senior Care Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive dementia and elderly care service based in Lancaster.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Care Assistant who is looking for regular, consistent hours while maintaining the flexibility of a casual contract.

You will play a key role in supporting residents to live with dignity, independence, and choice, while working alongside a dedicated care team to deliver high-quality person-centred care.

Due to increased staffing requirements, we are urgently seeking reliable and compassionate Senior Care Assistants who can provide exceptional standards of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

* Providing high-quality person-centred care to elderly residents

* Supporting individuals living with dementia and age-related conditions

* Assisting residents with personal care, mobility, and daily activities

* Supporting and guiding care staff during shifts

* Completing care records and documentation accurately

* Promoting dignity, respect, independence, and choice

* Supporting with medication administration where trained and authorised

* Following safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety procedures

* Escalating any concerns appropriately to senior staff members

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

✅ Previous experience working within elderly care or dementia care
✅ Experience working as a Senior Care Assistant or similar role
✅ A good understanding of person-centred care practices
✅ Strong communication and leadership skills
✅ The ability to support colleagues and work effectively within a team
✅ A caring, professional, and reliable approach
✅ A commitment to delivering excellent standards of care
