We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing printing company in Basildon for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their busy warehouse team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on warehouse professional looking for a long-term career with a successful business. The role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis, giving you the chance to demonstrate your skills before securing a permanent position.

The Role:-

As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

You will lead by example, motivate the warehouse team, and ensure daily operations run smoothly to meet production and customer deadlines.

For this role to will need to have CB & REACH licence if possible.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervising and supporting the warehouse team
* Planning and organising daily warehouse activities
* Managing goods in and goods out
* Ensuring accurate stock control and inventory management
* Coordinating with production and logistics teams
* Maintaining high housekeeping and health & safety standards
* Training and supporting warehouse operatives
* Monitoring team performance and productivity
* Assisting with loading, unloading and general warehouse duties where required

What We're Looking For-

* Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Experience within a fast-paced warehouse environment
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Good IT skills and experience using warehouse systems
* A proactive, reliable and hands-on approach
* Forklift licence beneficial but not essential
