£95,000 - £110,000 + Executive Package

We're working with a well-established Building Services Contractor that continues to secure some of London's most prestigious construction projects across the commercial, healthcare, life sciences, data centre, residential and mixed-use sectors.

As their portfolio continues to expand, they're looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Director who can provide strategic leadership across major M&E developments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, commercially and to the highest technical standards.

The Opportunity

You'll take ownership of major mechanical projects valued from £30m+, leading Project Managers, Engineers and Site Teams to ensure successful delivery across every stage of the project lifecycle.

Working closely with senior management, commercial teams and clients, you'll play a key role in maintaining programme, quality and profitability while developing long-term client relationships that support future business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of large-scale mechanical building services projects across London.
Provide direction and support to Project Managers and wider delivery teams.
Develop project strategies, programmes and delivery plans.
Oversee procurement, resource planning and project performance.
Ensure projects achieve programme milestones, budget targets and quality expectations.
Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
Support bid and pre-construction teams during tender stages where required.
Drive health, safety and compliance across all live projects.

You'll ideally have:

Significant experience managing large mechanical building services projects.
Previous experience as a Project Director, Senior Project Manager or Contracts Manager.
Strong commercial understanding with the ability to influence project performance.
Excellent client-facing and leadership skills.
Experience managing multiple project teams simultaneously.
A collaborative management style with a passion for developing people.
Relevant Mechanical Engineering or Building Services qualifications.
SMSTS and CSCS accreditation.
