The Role
As an MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Technician, you'll play a vital role in returning accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards by carrying out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs as part of the repair process.

Key responsibilities include:
·Removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components.
·Diagnosing and rectifying faults identified during the repair process.
·Carrying out repairs safely and efficiently to manufacturer specifications.
·Working closely with Panel Beaters, Paint Technicians and Workshop Controllers to ensure repairs are completed on schedule.
·Completing all work to high quality and safety standards.
·Identifying any additional damage and reporting findings where necessary.
·Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
·Accurately recording completed work in line with company procedures.

About You
This opportunity would suit an experienced MET Technician / MET Fitter / Mechanical, Electrical & Trim Technician who enjoys producing quality work and thrives in a busy Bodyshop environment.

You'll ideally have:
·Previous experience as an MET Technician, MET Fitter or similar Bodyshop repair role.
·Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanical, Electrical & Trim (NVQ / IMI / SVQ / ATA), with a commitment to continuous professional development.
·Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical and trim systems.
·The ability to work efficiently without compromising quality.
·Experience working within an accident repair or Bodyshop environment.
·Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
·A positive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team.
·A full UK driving licence.
