About the Opportunity

Join our Material Movement Operator Talent Pool and be considered for upcoming opportunities at our Sidcup manufacturing site.

Sidcup Operations is a critical part of our manufacturing network, producing approximately 50% of the GB SKU portfolio. With seven production lines capable of producing 480,000 cans, 96,000 PET bottles, and 48,000 glass bottles every hour, the site offers a dynamic environment with excellent development opportunities across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain functions.

As a Material Movement Operator, you'll play an important role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout the manufacturing process. This entry-level position provides full training and offers the opportunity to build valuable skills in a fast-paced FMCG production environment.

What You'll Be Doing

When opportunities arise, Material Movement Operators may be responsible for:

Safely moving, loading, and unloading raw materials and finished products.

Ensuring accurate storage, issuance, and return of materials.

Operating site equipment safely and effectively.

Supporting equipment start-ups, changeovers, and shutdown activities.

Monitoring production processes and escalating issues when required.

Completing routine cleaning, housekeeping, and basic maintenance tasks.

Carrying out quality and safety checks in line with site procedures.

Following all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.

Collaborating with colleagues to achieve operational targets.

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

What We're Looking For

No previous manufacturing experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided.

Strong work ethic and reliability

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Good communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to safe working practices

Ability to work effectively in a production environment
