ob Title: Quality Operative / Lab Assistant (Temporary)

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 48 hours per week
Working Hours:
* Monday & Tuesday: 06:00 – 16:30
* Wednesday & Thursday: 06:00 – 16:00
* Friday: 06:00 – 15:30
* 30-minute unpaid break each day
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Quality Operative / Lab Assistant to join their Quality team.
The role involves checking pre- and post-cast concrete products, supporting lab work, and making sure quality standards are met. You’ll need to be thorough and confident in spotting and reporting any issues.
This role is not heavily manual but does include some physical tasks such as moving equipment, handling materials, and general housekeeping. Full training will be provided.
Duties Include:
* Checking and measuring products
* Recording results and completing basic paperwork
* Reporting any faults or issues
* Supporting lab testing
* Basic housekeeping and moving materials when needed
What We’re Looking For:
* Able to read measurements and use a tape measure
* Basic maths skills
* Comfortable using a computer (Word/Excel)
* Good attention to detail
* Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance
* Able to work well in a small team
