Project Manager - Construction & Utilities
Location: Ireland or Scotland (with travel as required)
Salary: €90,000-€100,000 + Benefits

An established international business transformation and consulting organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex projects across the construction and utilities sectors. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing team that partners with major organisations to deliver significant operational, commercial, and business change outcomes.

Working closely with clients and multidisciplinary delivery teams, you will take ownership of project success from initiation through to completion, ensuring objectives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of complex construction and utilities projects, ensuring successful outcomes for clients.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate activities across multiple workstreams.
  • Identify project risks, issues, and delivery challenges, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations at all levels of the organisation.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring stakeholder engagement and satisfaction.
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, costs, and profitability.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure delivery of measurable business value.
  • Support, mentor, and develop project team members throughout project life cycles.
  • Produce clear project documentation, reports, and executive-level communications.

About You

  • Minimum 5 years' project management experience within the construction, utilities, infrastructure, engineering, or related sectors.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Commercially aware with experience managing project budgets and financial performance.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming delivery challenges.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel across Ireland, Scotland, and the UK as required.
