Location: Sunderland
£29,025.43 per annum
Full Time, Permanent Staff position
Monday to Friday: 7.30am – 4pm
We're looking for a reliable and safety-focused Yard Operator to join a busy industrial site.
What you'll do:
* Operate forklifts and yard equipment
* Manage vehicle movements and loading/unloading
* The role will include some heavy lifting of equipment
* Carry out tank checks and stock updates
* Complete safety checks and maintain housekeeping standards
* Follow safe systems of work and site procedures
* Work closely with the operations team to keep the site running smoothly
We're looking for:
* Forklift experience (preferred)
* A strong commitment to health & safety
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive, hands-on approach
* Experience in an industrial or chemical environment is an advantage
