Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Salford for a Temporary Catering Assistant to join their school kitchen team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous school kitchen or catering experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping provide nutritious meals for children.

The Role:

Assisting with the preparation and serving of school meals.
Supporting the kitchen team with food preparation and general kitchen duties.
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
Washing up and ensuring kitchen equipment and work areas are kept clean and tidy.
Working alongside an experienced Catering Assistant as part of a friendly and supportive team.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working in a school kitchen or similar catering environment.
Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
The ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
A reliable, flexible, and positive attitude.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).What We Offer:
