Location: Newbury
Salary: £28,500
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.45am to 4.45pm, Friday 7.45am to 1.45pm
We’re working with a well‑established business looking to add a Stores Coordinator to their team. This Stores Operative role offers the opportunity to join a company known for designing and manufacturing cutting edge engineering products.
As a Stores Operative your key responsibilities will include:
Inspect incoming goods and verify them against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
Manage stock records by ensuring accuracy between physical inventory and system data.
Liaise with Purchasing and Quality teams to resolve discrepancies or non-conforming goods.
Attention to Detail. Accuracy in checking goods, stock levels, and documentation
Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with internal teams (Production, Purchasing, Quality)
To be considered for this Stores Operative position you will need:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or stores environment would be beneficial
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail
Computer literate
As the new Stores Operative, you can expect:
Salary: £28,500
25 days holiday per annum, including bank holidays
Pension plan that matches up to 7%
