Are you an experienced field sales professional who thrives on building long-term relationships and influencing specification opportunities?
Our client is a market-leading manufacturer within the fire safety sector, recognised for innovation, quality and industry-leading training. They are looking to appoint an ambitious Regional Account Manager to develop and grow their North London territory, working closely with customers across the entire supply chain.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a consultative sales approach, values relationship building and wants to work for an organisation committed to making buildings safer.
The Role
As Regional Account Manager, you will take ownership of the North London territory, proactively developing business opportunities while supporting customers from initial specification through to distribution and installation.
You'll work closely with Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Electrical Contractors, Developers, Architects, M&E Contractors, Fire & Rescue Services, Distributors and other key stakeholders to promote innovative fire safety solutions and increase product specification.
This is a varied, relationship-led role combining account management, business development, technical support and customer education.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow sales throughout the North London territory.
*
Increase product specification across Local Authority, Housing Association and commercial projects.
*
Build strong relationships throughout the supply chain, from specifiers to distributors and installers.
*
Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations and accredited installer training.
*
Organise customer events and visits to the company's training facilities.
*
Provide first-line technical advice and application support.
*
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales opportunities and customer activity.
*
Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
*
Attend exhibitions, product launches, regional meetings and national sales conferences.
*
Achieve territory sales and growth objectives.
About You
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
*
A successful track record in field sales within a technical or specification-led environment.
*
Experience managing and developing a geographical sales territory.
*
Strong business development and account management skills.
*
Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.
*
Confidence presenting to customers both individually and in group settings.
*
Strong organisational skills and CRM experience.
Experience within domestic fire safety, electrical products or building services would be advantageous but is not essential.
