About the Role
We are seeking a professional and organised Office Manager to provide short-term cover for a busy office in Maidstone. This is a 2-week assignment requiring an experienced individual who can quickly integrate into the team and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of office operations.
The successful candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple administrative responsibilities while supporting staff and maintaining an efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office.
* Manage incoming calls, emails, and visitor enquiries.
* Coordinate office supplies and liaise with external suppliers.
* Maintain filing systems and company records.
* Support senior management with administrative tasks.
* Organise meetings, appointments, and room bookings.
* Process invoices, purchase orders, and general office documentation.
* Ensure office facilities are maintained and any issues are promptly addressed.
* Assist with HR administration, including onboarding paperwork and holiday records where required.
* Provide general support to employees and ensure smooth business operations during the cover period.
Requirements
* Previous experience as an Office Manager, Senior Administrator, or similar role.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
