Are you a commercially minded Qualified Accountant with a passion for business partnering, financial modelling and driving strategic change?
Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their finance team on an initial six-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing commercial insight, supporting key projects and delivering data-driven financial analysis that influences business decisions.
Working within a collaborative environment, you will play a key role in financial planning, project delivery and stakeholder engagement, helping to drive performance and support strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business leaders to provide commercial financial support and strategic insight.
Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting and business planning.
Lead financial analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Support and manage finance-related projects, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives.
Present financial information and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Challenge and influence business decisions through robust financial analysis.
Monitor project performance, budgets and financial outcomes.
Produce accurate financial reports, forecasts and management information.
Build strong working relationships across finance and operational teams.
Drive continuous improvement within financial processes and reporting.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have:
Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering role.
Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills.
Experience managing or supporting business change and finance projects.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to influence, challenge and drive business decisions.
Strong commercial awareness and analytical thinking.
Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
