Location: Berwick upon Tweed (North East England)

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum + up to £6,000 Performance-Related Pay

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role

Are you a compassionate, values-driven leader ready to shape a brand-new service from the ground up?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Registered Manager to establish the culture, team, and standards of a newly opened children's home in Berwick upon Tweed.

Backed by an established, award-winning care group with over a decade of experience delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care, you will lead the home in accordance with Ofsted requirements, the Quality Standards, and the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

What We Offer

Competitive Compensation: £50,000 - £65,000 base salary + up to £6,000 PRP.

Key Responsibilities

Register with Ofsted and maintain regulatory compliance across all Quality Standards.

Lead, inspire, and develop a team committed to therapeutic, child-centred care.

Oversee day-to-day operations, including rotas, budgets, and inter-agency partnerships.

Ensure children's voices actively guide care planning and support their life outcomes.

What We Are Looking For

Experience: Minimum 2 years in a management or deputy management role in an Ofsted-regulated children's residential setting.

Qualification: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England), or equivalent.

Essential: Full UK driving licence, suitability for Ofsted registration, and ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check
