Business Systems Architect
Robert Half are working with a client to resource for a Business Systems Architect. The Business Systems Architect is responsible for defining and governing the architecture of the organisation's business systems, with a primary focus on Cloud-based ERP management. Working closely with business stakeholders and IT teams, the role ensures technology solutions support business strategy, improve operational efficiency and align with enterprise architecture standards within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities- Own the architecture and roadmap for the ERP system and associated business applications.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, supportable solution designs.
- Lead solution design workshops and provide architectural governance across projects.
- Define integration architecture between the ERP system and surrounding business systems.
- Partner with business leaders, delivery teams and third-party suppliers to deliver business change.
- Maintain architecture documentation, standards and technology roadmaps.
- Support continuous improvement and future ERP capability development.
Skills & Experience
- Significant experience in Business Systems, Solution or Enterprise Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based ERP systems.
- Experience designing enterprise integrations using APIs and Middleware.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working within large transformation programmes.
Desirable
- TOGAF or equivalent Architecture certification.
- IFS Cloud and/or Oracle Cloud certifications.
- Experience with Power BI, Oracle Integration Cloud or Azure Integration Services.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Background in FMCG, manufacturing or supply chain environments.
