Role Overview

For a respected client in Paris, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a 12-month contract (freelance) assignment to lead a key ERP transformation program migrating from Microsoft Dynamics Navision to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

It is essential that applicants for this position have hands-on life cycle project experience with migrating Microsoft Dynamics Navision ERP into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

This role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the ERP migration project, ensuring successful execution across scope, timeline, budget, and quality.

The Project Manager acts as the central coordination point between Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and external implementation partners, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical delivery.

The project languages are English and French, you will need to converse in both languages at a professional level.

The client is willing to pay travel and accommodations expenses for suitable candidates, who are not based in Paris.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the ERP migration project from Navision to Business Central end-to-end

Define and manage project scope, roadmap, milestones, and delivery plan

Coordinate cross-functional teams across Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and vendors

Ensure alignment between business requirements and solution implementation

Manage project governance, including RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies)

Oversee delivery phases including analysis, build, testing, UAT, and cutover

Drive stakeholder engagement at both operational and senior management level

Ensure effective change management, business readiness, and user adoption

Monitor and control timeline, budget, and delivery quality throughout the project

Manage external system integrators and ensure delivery accountability

Key Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Manager in ERP transformation programs

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central is a strong advantage

Strong understanding of Finance processes (GL, AP, AR, reporting)

Knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes is beneficial

Proven track record in end-to-end ERP implementation or migration projects

Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities

Experience working with system integrators and cross-functional teams

Strong governance, planning, and risk management skills

Ability to operate in complex, fast-paced transformation environments

Practical Information

Location: Paris, France/Hybrid

Rate: Hourly rate in Euro's plus expenses for travel accommodation and per diem.

Contract Type: 12-month contracting assignment
