Teachers UK is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and proactive Primary Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of welcoming primary schools in Mansfield and the surrounding areas.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2), working alongside class teachers to help create an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Primary Teaching Assistant Benefits

Primary Teaching Assistant Requirements
* Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is desirable)
* Experience supporting pupils within a primary school setting is advantageous
* Understanding of the primary curriculum across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A patient, positive and supportive approach to working with children
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and use your own initiative
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through Teachers UK
The Successful Primary Teaching Assistant Will
* Support pupils on a one-to-one basis, in small groups and within whole-class activities
* Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
* Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and participation in learning
* Support positive behaviour management in line with school policies
* Help create an inclusive, safe and nurturing learning environment
* Adapt confidently to different classrooms, year groups and school settings
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SEND staff and wider school teams to support pupil progress
