A long-established property and construction consultancy is looking to recruit a Project Quantity Surveyor for its London office. The role offers the chance to manage a varied workload across residential, public sector, education, and regeneration projects while working within a knowledgeable and supportive cost management team.

The appointed Project Quantity Surveyor will take responsibility for delivering commissions from initial feasibility through to final account. Duties will include cost planning, procurement, tender analysis, contract administration, valuations, and financial reporting, with regular involvement in client meetings and site-based project reviews.

This opportunity would suit a Project Quantity Surveyor who is comfortable managing their own workload and is ready to broaden their client-facing experience. The consultancy offers a clear route for progression, professional development support, and the opportunity to contribute to projects with a tangible social and community impact.

Project Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities:

Managing cost consultancy services across multiple live projects

Producing feasibility estimates, detailed cost plans, and tender documentation

Advising clients on procurement routes and contractual strategy

Assessing interim valuations, variations, and contractor submissions

Preparing financial reports and maintaining accurate cost forecasts

Managing final accounts and supporting projects through completion

Building effective working relationships with clients, contractors, and design teams

Project Quantity Surveyor - Candidate Requirements:

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a relevant construction discipline

Previous experience within a UK consultancy environment

Strong knowledge of pre- and post-contract cost management

Familiarity with JCT contracts and traditional or design-and-build procurement

Confident communicator with strong commercial and organisational skills

MRICS qualified or progressing towards chartership would be advantageous

In Return:

£55,000-£60,000 per annum

25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
