An expanding Chartered Surveying consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Manchester office, supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of Residential and Commercial projects.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor's role
Ideally with previous Project Management experience, the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor, supported by the current QS team, will help deliver refurbishment projects from estimating and cost planning, right through to final accounts.
Additionally, the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have the opportunity, should they wish, to become involved in client relationship management and mentor the less experienced Quantity Surveyors within the team.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor
Completed a Quantity Surveying degree or similar
MRICS preferred, but not essential
Good estimating and measuring experience
Commercial and/or Residential project experience would be ideal
Pre and post contract experience
Prior / current PQS / Construction Consultancy experienceIn Return?
£60,000 - £70,000
