Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm | Work from home on Fridays

We’re recruiting for a Customer Care Coordinator to join a well-established, privately owned organisation with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects.

Based in the company’s Berkhamsted office, you’ll join a friendly and supportive customer care team, acting as a key point of contact for customers. This is a varied role in which you’ll coordinate repairs, manage customer enquiries and work closely with site teams and subcontractors to ensure issues are resolved promptly and professionally.

With a strong pipeline of projects, low staff turnover and ambitious growth plans, the business can offer long-term stability, fully funded training and genuine opportunities for career progression.

The role

Your responsibilities will include:

Acting as a main point of contact customers.
Recording, prioritising and managing reported defects and maintenance requests.
Coordinating remedial work with subcontractors and site teams.
Tracking outstanding jobs and ensuring agreed service levels are achieved.
Keeping customers informed throughout the repair process.
Working with Construction, Technical and Commercial teams to resolve issues.
Maintaining accurate records using the company’s customer care systems.
Helping the business maintain excellent customer satisfaction standards.
Occasionally visiting live developments when required. Driver with own car is essential.
About you

We’d like to hear from candidates who are:

Confident communicators with excellent customer service skills.
Highly organised and able to manage a busy, varied workload.
Calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
Proactive problem-solvers who take ownership of customer enquiries.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other IT-based systems.
Experience in customer care, aftercare, property, construction or strong organisational/coordination or scheduling experience would be beneficial, but candidates from other fast-paced, customer-focused environments are also encouraged to apply.
