Cheltenham | Temp to Perm | 40 Hours per Week

TimePlan Education is recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's largest childcare organisations for enthusiastic and caring Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Early Years professionals to join their warm and nurturing nursery in Cheltenham, conveniently located close to the town centre.

The Role

As an Early Years Educator/Nursery Practitioner, you'll play a key role in supporting the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 years. Working as part of a dedicated and supportive team, you'll help create a safe, stimulating and engaging environment where every child can flourish.

This is a full-time, temporary to permanent opportunity, offering 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Working hours are between 7:30am and 6:00pm, with shifts such as:

7:30am - 3:30pm
8:30am - 4:30pm
9:30am - 5:30pm
10:00am - 6:00pm

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
Create a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children.
Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
Act as a Key Person, supporting children's individual learning journeys.
Observe, assess and record children's progress.
Ensure high standards of care and safeguarding are maintained at all times.

What We're Looking For

Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
Previous experience working with children under 5 years old.
A genuine passion for Early Years education.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A caring, patient and nurturing approach.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.Whether you've worked as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse or Nursery Assistant, we'd love to hear from you.
