Management Accountant | Warrington | Hybrid | £45,000 to £52,500 + Excellent Benefits & Bonus
Axon Moore is delighted to be partnering with a large, well-established business in Warrington to recruit a qualified Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing finance team in a varied role with exposure to senior stakeholders, process improvement initiatives, and genuine career development.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts and group reporting
Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Producing insightful overhead reporting and supporting key stakeholders with financial performance
Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close
Maintaining robust financial controls and identifying process improvements
Supporting Finance Business Partners and cost centre managers with commercial insight
Assisting with treasury, tax and audit requirements
Supporting business change projects, systems improvements and finance transformation initiatives
Mentoring junior team members and providing technical support where required
The Candidate
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with 1–3 years' post-qualified experience
Strong management accounting, reporting and forecasting experience
Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Confident communicating with stakeholders across the business
Previous team leadership or mentoring experience is desirable but not essential
Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
