Air Conditioning Engineer - Facilities Management

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing facilities management company for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their engineering team covering London.

The Role

Working across a varied portfolio of commercial properties, you'll be responsible for carrying out air conditioning installations, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing, fault finding and reactive repairs on a wide range of air conditioning systems.

This is a field-based role where you'll work independently while being supported by an experienced engineering team, delivering a consistently high standard of workmanship and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out the installation of air conditioning systems.
Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.
Service and maintain a wide range of air conditioning equipment.
Diagnose faults and carry out reactive repairs.
Commission new installations where required.
Complete all job reports accurately using a PDA/mobile device.
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with current Health & Safety legislation and industry regulations.
Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times.Essential

Previous experience carrying out air conditioning installations, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing and reactive repairs.
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.Desirable

Previous experience working within the Facilities Management sector.
Experience working on commercial properties.
Experience with split, multi-split, VRV/VRF and other commercial air conditioning systems.
IPAF and/or PASMA qualifications.
Manufacturer training with Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, LG, Panasonic or similar.
18th Edition or other electrical qualifications would be advantageous.What's on Offer?

Basic salary of up to £55,000, depending on experience.
Regular overtime available to significantly increase your earnings.
Monday to Friday working hours (8:00am - 5:00pm).
